Maha Shivaratri
Maha Shiravatri is a great festival in Hinduism, celebrated every year with devotion and religious enthusiasm in the honour of the Lord Shiva. During the festival in Varanasi, India, there were so many cultural events taking place. The streets were lively with Indian classical music and colourful parades, and the prayers to the sacred water Ganges river was astonishing.
